The Board of Directors of Getupdated Internet Marketing has appointed Dan Sehlberg as CEO and President. Mr. Sehlberg is currently CEO of Citat Group. His task will be to equip Getupdated for sustained brisk progress on the expansive market for Internet marketing. The Board has also appointed Håkan Juserius as the company’s new CFO and COO.
Kjell Ormegard, Chairman of the Board, commented: “Dan Sehlberg has a strong resumé and is really well suited to take the company forward after its multiple acquisitions last year. The demand for Internet marketing services is in high growth, and the company now has a management that can make the necessary structural moves to meet the demanding challenges facing the company.”
Dan Sehlberg has many years’ experience of leading services corporations in listed and unlisted environments within and outside Sweden. He is currently CEO and President of communication production company Citat Group, where he has been a member of the management team for nine years. In this period, Citat has evolved into a well-managed, profitable group, one of the largest in its sector. He was previously a CEO within the listed Linné Group and previously developed new Internet-related enterprises for Swedish daily newspaper Aftonbladet and publishing group Bonnier. Mr. Sehlberg holds an MBA from the Stockholm School of Economics.

Håkan Juserius Becomes New CFO and COO of Getupdated Internet Marketing
Getupdated’s management is gaining additional skills through the employment of Håkan Juserius as CFO and COO. Mr. Juserius is currently CFO and COO of Citat Group, and has been working alongside Dan Sehlberg for many years. Mr. Juserius has held senior executive positions in a number of services companies since the 1990s. He was CFO of IT consulting practices Linné Group and Cell Network, quoted on the Stockholm Stock Exchange O-list. Mr. Juserius holds an MBA from the Gothenburg School of Economics.
“Håkan Juserius is one of Sweden’s most capable CFO’s, and is highly experienced in acquisition-led growth,” added Kjell Ormegard.
Both Dan Sehlberg and Håkan Juserius will take up their positions on 1 December. The Board intends to propose to a forthcoming general meeting that Mr. Sehlberg and Mr. Juserius are offered options corresponding to some 7% of the outstanding shares of the company on market terms. The board will shortly convene a general meeting regarding this matter. The company’s three main owners, Anders Varveus, Åke Eriksson and Mattias Kaneteg, who together hold some one-half of the company’s equity and voting rights, have undertaken to support the Board’s proposal on this matter.
Getupdated’s current CEO Johan Kadar will remain as CEO until Mr. Sehlberg takes up his position.
