Getupdated has received an award as the producer behind Sweden’s best community, Visit Sweden’s "Community of Sweden". The prize was awarded in front of around 400 guests at the EPiServer Awards. There were in total 128 nominees of which 30 were nominated in different categories.

Visit Sweden won the award for best community at the EPiServer Awards. The community was developed by Getupdated Internet Marketing and the prize was awarded to both the client and the production company.
 
"We congratulate Visit Sweden. Of course we are proud of having built this website which has already been named as Site of the Year and has now also received this award at the EPiServer Awards", says Getupdated’s CEO, Dan Sehlberg.
 
Community of Sweden has opened up a new market online. Here Sweden is marketed by tourists, Swedes and others with a special interest in Sweden. All content is created by the users by sharing personal tips, stories, pictures and other content.
 
According to the jury the community is easy to navigate and gives visitors an affectionate picture of Sweden and various places in the country. In this way the country is marketed in an innovative way, far more effective than what could be achieved with traditional marketing.
