Want to learn SEO (Search Engine Optimisation)?
If so, you should definitely read our optimisation guide. It uses simple terms to explain several of the techniques that should be used to successfully optimise your website, increasing its visibility in the search engines.
We split our tips for search engine optimisation into two parts:
On-page optimisation and Off-page optimisation.
On-Page optimisation
In on-page optimisation your website is re-created for optimum usability and visibility in search engines. As you can derive from the term this work is conducted on the site itself. The objective of on-page optimisation is twofold, to make your website more attractive for customers and more search engine friendly for search engines.
Before you start the on-page optimisation it is important to find and analyse the keywords that searchers really are using. To pinpoint and frequently use the words that convert into new customers should be the ultimate objective for every website. Please use our industry analysis to find some of the terms that can be most relevant for your particular industry.
After a thorough keyword analysis we search for technical obstacles that may impede your websites placements in search engines. Getupdated then reviews titles and metatags, so that the page is presented in a correct way within search engines. Off-Page optimisation
Whilst on-page optimisation focuses and works with the actual website, off-page optimisation addresses all external factors that affects your websites placement. Off-page optimisation looks at analysis and statistics and most importantly, link building.
Receiving link ‘votes’ is a very central part of off-page optimisation. Links can be received through active link building, social media, link baiting and catalogues.
